Avery was born in Denver, Colorado and spent her childhood in both Texas and New Mexico. She earned her veterinary assistant certificate through Pima Medical Institute. Avery lives in a busy household with six dogs: Kuma the Pittie mix, an Australian Kelpie named Kita, Katai the Pittie mix, Tank the Pittie mix, a Chiweenie named Nikko, another Chiweenie named Lucky and also 3 cats: Momo, Luna, and Yoshi! She enjoys hiking, swimming, snowboarding, and playing video games in her free time. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine include getting to know her patients and fixing their problems through surgery. Avery has been a part of our team since 2020.
